Terms of Service
Last Updated: June 8, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Affordable Tech platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
Affordable Tech provides an AI-driven platform that sources and negotiates home maintenance services with third-party contractors via SMS. We act as an intermediary to help you find competitive pricing.
3. Not a Contractor
Affordable Tech is not a licensed contractor. We do not perform repairs ourselves and we are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the work performed by the technicians you find through our platform. Any agreement for work is strictly between you and the technician.
4. Payments and Fees
Our sourcing and negotiation services are free to start. To unlock the full contact details and schedule a technician, we charge:
- Single Job Unlock: $30.00 one-time fee per technician.
- Pro Subscription: $10.00 per month for unlimited unlocks.
Fees are non-refundable once contact details have been revealed.
5. User Conduct
You agree to provide accurate information about your repair needs. You may not use our platform to harass technicians, engage in fraudulent activity, or bypass our payment system once a negotiation has been finalized by our AI agents.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Affordable Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service or the work performed by contractors found through the platform.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms.
8. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Affordable Tech operates.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
